Chemical engineering graduates strive up to their very best to surpass this barrier blocking their way to success. In accordance with this, The University of the Philippines Academic League of Chemical Engineering Students (UP ALCHEMES) administers the annual Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination Primer (ChEckboard) to provide the examinees a superior way of dealing with this gatekeeper.
ChEckboard serves as a primer for the Chemical Engineering Licensure Examinations designed to give service to all chemical engineering graduates from different colleges and universities across the country. In this event, people in league of successful and professional chemical engineers are invited, such as, the recent board topnotchers and the board members of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The primer aims for the intellectual change of ideas between the topnotchers, speakers and the future examinees. ChEckBoard creates a venue for the discussion of important matters vital to board exam takers. This covers the overview of topics, rules and guidelines governing the examination and several crucial tips that definitely will be of great help. Most importantly, participants get the chance to raise inquiries and clarify details regarding the exam. It is anticipated that by the end of the event, participants are equipped with the crucial knowledge and know-how that will keep them inspired and do well on the exam.
Nonetheless, this event not only caters ideas about the licensure examination, it also provides Chemical engineering graduates with a myriad of opportunities. Company talks and even job opportunities are presented amidst the seminar.
Now on its 6th year, ChEckboard carries the theme “Towards Traversing Paths”, aiming mainly to prime the licensure examination takers on strategic plans and wits they should seize to cross the pathway towards success.
